Wait on customers, answer the phone, balance the cash drawer, make bank deposits, and run daily reports. Also must be able to file, type letters, process credit card transactions. Deal with the public in a courteous, friendly and helpful manner during the fee collection operation. Be able to work unsupervised. Additionally fill in when Office Assistant is on vacation, is sick, or out of the office during normal business hours. Rotating 20-24 hour weekly work schedule, every other Saturday.
Maintain break room in an orderly fashion, vacuum the office area, clean windows, open and close gates when needed, water plants, clean office area, bathroom, and lunch room as needed.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Have the ability to physically go outside to measure and inspect loads of trash in all types of weather. Accurately be able to operate a calculator, keyboard, fax machine and photo copier. Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows programs such as Word, Excel and be able to learn new and updated applications for the computer process. Must be bondable for the position.
Ability to write or type routine reports.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts. Computer or electronic experience required.
Ability to solve practical problems and to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Colorado State Driver’s license required.
