EQUIPMENT SITE OPERATOR

San Luis Valley Regional Landfill in Monte Vista is taking applications for an Equipment Site Operator. Ability to operate various equipment including: motor grader, loader, scraper, dozer, compactor, yard mower, utility vehicle, water truck. Service and repair equipment, pick up trash, and ability to read grade stakes, elevations for grade work and slope achievement. Welding and mechanical skills for shop operations are not required, but a plus. Education: High School diploma, GED, 2 – 4 years related experience. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, calculate figures and amounts. Computer or electronic experience suggested. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and pass pre-employment drug testing including marijuana testing. Starting Hourly Wage $17.00 DOE.
